The Cove is ideally sited on the northeast slope of Celo Mountain, which rises to 6,327 feet as the northern anchor of the Black Mountain range . Only 15 miles in total length, The Black Mountain range contains ten of the highest peaks in the entire Appalachian Mountain chain which stretches from Georgia into Canada. One of the oldest rock formations in the world, Celo Mountain has been carved for eons by water and wind to create the dramatic ridges, hills and valleys you will find in The Cove at Celo Mountain.
