Christine's goals brought to reality by Internet Services Group

In our initial meeting with Southwest Florida watercolor artist Christine Reichow and her husband, Richard, our first step was to develop their list of goals for their new web site:

  • Have an easy-to-use, professional web site that showcases Christine, her accomplishments and her art.
  • Have an online gallery where people can browse through her work, search (by name, category, or layout), see her latest work (sorting by date), and even order online.
  • Provide a listing of locations & events where her work is showcased.
  • Allow Christine & Richard the ability to update every part of their web site (The Gallery, News, Biography, Locations, Events, Accomplishments, and Contact Us).

Our Approach

Design:

With all of our projects, our first priority is to finalize the design or "look" of the new site. For Christine & Richard, we built seven design concepts for them to choose from (you can take a look at them here: http://demo.isgfl.com/www.christinereichow.com/).

After Christine & Richard selected their favorite design, we finalized the look by creating graphical looks for the sub-pages.

Construction:

Once their choice for the finalized look was confirmed - we began building their site using our Site-Skel technology (Site-Skel is technology we invented which provides the underlying foundation for our ISG Content Manager).

Training & Content Fill:

As soon as construction was complete and the ISG Content Manager was in place for the site, we trained Richard on how to properly content fill the web site.

The entire time they were able to view their soon-to-be released site at a hidden web address.

The Results

We proudly debuted Christine's Web Site March 19, 2007.

Richard said "I really enjoy having the complete control to update pricing, sizes and everything else on the site - without having to get a hold of anyone else to do it! Thanks ISG!"
